Austin2570
So for a while now I've liked this girl in my grade(we are HS sophomores btw) and I finally got the courage to ask her on a date, and she said yes! The date went great and we even cuddled during the movie. When the date was over and I walked her to her front door, since I was feeling confident and I thought she liked me I decided to ask her to be my girlfriend. She kinda thought about it for a second then said "I don't really know, I just don't really wanna get into all that right now especially since I'm just getting out of a relationship(she got denied by this guy like a month ago), but if I do decide to start dating again I'll definitely tell you because I think your really nice and funny" On the outside I was very understanding about it but on the inside I was dying. Even though she denied me she still said we could go on dates if I wanted and we went on one the next week but the past two weeks she's said she's busy, after that we continue to text and talk but now every time I see her talk to another guy it makes me so jealous and not having her has sent me into a deep state of depression and I think it's causing me to lose her interest. Please I need help on what to do and when to do it Link to comment
Wiseman2
Sorry to hear this. Great you asked her out, but the gf thing on the first date may have been too much too soon. You may want to lay back on the texting so you don't get friendzoned. The best remedy for overdoing or overstepping is to pull back somewhat. Focus the texting more about dates and don't be a text-buddy or male-girlfriend to her. I finally got the courage to ask her on a date, and she said yes!
