Could you love someone and never want to live with them?

hi everyone.

 

l'm still in love with my ex, and he says he loves me... but he never wants to live with anyone, isn't close to his family and although he sees them occasionally, i've never met them. And his friends are kept separate too, thats just how he likes to live his life.

 

I know people would think that means he's hiding something, but I 100% believe he isn't, but he just likes everything to be separate as he is insanely private and cautious of people.

 

So my question to you is... could you stay with someone who is this way if you love them with all your heart? Even though you know you will NEVER be able to live with each other or just be part of these parts of his/her life?

Question isn't whether others can do it though, it's whether you can do it. Whether it makes a satisfying relationship for you. Whether this is the type of arrangement you are looking for.

People who need things 100% separate and are insanely private and extremely cautious of people are not good relationship material .
