Hi everyone!

Things are beyond going wonderful. I'm definitely in love. For those of you who don't know my situation I have been dating a 39 year old man since june. It is wonderful. We have been spending alot of time togetjer, spending time with each other's families, have gone to several formal events together ( they have been so much fun getting all dressed up and dancing the night away. He even sings when we dance) we are spending Christmas eve with his family and Christmas day with his. Things are wonderful. I want to tell him I love him. I do think that he feels very strongly for me just not sure if he is feeling love. I didn't realize it until recently. In the night we meet on the radio it was playing have alittle faith in me by John Hiatt and it made me smile thinking of how well our date was. The other day I heard it and I realized how incredibly in love I am with him. I cried! I would like to tell him about the song and how I really feel about him. I guess I am afraid of his response. Should I say something should I wait for him to say it. Help

Don't say in awkward words hoping for a response. Give him a simple small Christmas ornament for his tree mixed in with other gifts that says I love you on it.

My BF beat me to the punch, by about 5 min. (truth), with the I love you. It was kind of funny. I was going to go for it, but he did first. If you feel it, say it. What matters in the end is you both feel this way. I hope he does too. Good luck!

I don't think you can be subtle with this. I wouldn't put it on an ornament. I would say it, that way he's sure. I think it's a milestone that has to be direct and personal. Spoken, not written. He may not feel the same way. That's life. Some things you just have to courage up and do no holds barred. This is one of them.

I knew my BF was feeling it, but not quite ready to say it. And I knew he needed to be the first one to say it. It was hard to hold that in!
