chillymrie
What are some things you do daily or just in general to help boost your self confidence to make you see yourself as and feel more confident? Link to comment
gebaird
For me, self-help books increase my self-awareness and help me better understand my good qualities, but it's important to choose carefully (some self-help books are more helpful than others). I've also benefited from meditation, therapy and creative pursuits. Sometimes facing fears can be a gateway to greater confidence. Since we don't usually see ourselves accurately, it can help to ask a trusted friend or family member about our strengths. When someone compliments you or says something positive, don't just reject it out of hand or question the person's motives. Allow it to sink in and become a part of your belief system. Sportster2005
Being physically active. It clears the mind, makes you feel better, and gives you more energy. It will increase your confidence. Martial arts, dancing, running, walking, hiking. Find something that is physical and you are passionate about. You life will improve tremendously. Do things that frighten you. Link to comment
Batya33
Also going to go with physically active. And I tell myself three of the things I am thankful for every night - I think that helps with perspective and is related to self- esteem. I exercise daily and mostly on a treadmill but getting outside - I power walk - does more for me. Link to comment
