teachertalk21
My ex and I were together for about a year and half when she broke up with me out of the blue. There hadn't been a fight, she just explained she had lost feelings. I accepted the situation and decided to severe contact so I could move on. At first she was contacting me regularly to see how I was. I ignored all these attempts because I thought she just felt guilty. It's been three months since the break up and she is still contacting me. Most recently she asked me to attend a three day reunion at her house and it has really confused me. We haven't spoken a single word since the break up. It's abundantly clear that I am fine and slowly moving on with my life. What does she want? Link to comment
Andrina
It's never about what they want. It's about what you want. In my case, I'd never want to speak to a person in my past who didn't care enough about me to stay in a relationship. I'd block their number if possible, since I wouldn't want them intruding into my present life. If I couldn't block the number, I'd text: Don't contact me again. Respect my wishes. Link to comment
teachertalk21
Thank you, that makes me feel a lot better. At some point I would like to be friends with her, but I feel the more she contacts me, the less opportunity I have to heal and move on. Link to comment
HeartGoesOn
How is she able to contact you if you "severed contact?" Link to comment
teachertalk21
I deleted her from everything and told her to stop contacting me. I assumed she would respect my wishes, so I didn't see the need to block her. Link to comment
Wiseman2
Agree it's partly guilt, but mostly friendzoning. It may be best to tell her you need to go no contact then block her. I ignored all these attempts because I thought she just felt guilty. Most recently she asked me to attend a three day reunion at her house and it has really confused me. What does she want? teachertalk21
Yeh, thanks. I didn't want to have to resort to blocking her, but I guess it's for the best because every time she contacts me it leaves me reeling for about a week! Link to comment
