17 and 19 is not considered an age gap, as far as I know. Not weird/creepy as far as I'm concerned.

Sounds fine to me, but protect yourself. Most states have exceptions for smaller gaps, but some are very strict. All it takes is her parents disapproving or her turning into a vindictive ex to crash your world down. So long as the law says it's cool, have at it. Or wait a year.

 

And do you know she's 17? Might be best to avoid high schoolers altogether. You'd still be held accountable if she's actually 15 and lying.

This is not a real age gap. It's perfectly legal for teenagers to date if they are two years apart. You have nothing to worry about.

Check your state's age of consent. See if you can see her ID. Some girls lie about their age in high school to date older people.

Why would that be creepy? Lol so if you 17 and she was 15, would it be creepy? Or if you were 25 and she was 22? I think it's pretty normal. It would be creepy if you were 25 and she was 17.

Check with your state laws. If it's legal but you have an issue with it then it's an issue.
