Hooked up with a friend I don't want to date

Hey,

 

So over the weekend I hooked up with a friend of a friend after we had both had a few drinks. Nothing really came of it, we just cuddled in front of a few movies and fell asleep in each others arms.

 

I don't want to date her and would be happier just being friends. Neither one of us has spoken about it since it happened. I don't know whether to just leave it and carry on like nothing ever happened, or whether I should talk to her about what happened and let her know how I feel. Any advice would be amazing.

Welcome to ENA. Out of curiosity, why don't you want to date her? I think you just don't need to do or say anything unless she asks you out or asks for a repeat performance. Then you will probably have to tell her no.

I'd say since nothing really happened I'd just let it be. If she comes to you then say something. I would try not to lead her on any further. Good luck

No need for a "relationship talk" because there isn't any. Just drop it and if you only want to be friends, act the part.

I don't really see a reason to overthink everything and have a talk with her about where you two currently stand.

Unless she mentions something about the situation, I would drop it and not saying anything. Next time, don't cuddle with "friends"
