So confused what to do now :( ...... progress from original post

I originally posted a thread about two weeks ago, about a boy who i met with, then he went to visit his family,

He said to me, we will meet when we get back, and will be approximately two weeks, but now it is over three weeks, nearly four and from his facebook he is still there, and has made no contact with me whatsoever.

From his facebook, he has been active, even this morning, so if he has internet to post a picture, then why can't he just send a reply to my message saying 'hi, how are you?'

 

I really don't know what to think anymore, my friends say just to forget about it, but i can't, from the original post i describe how i like him

i am just really confused now and don't know what to do, do i just leave it and wait for him? (if he ever messages me back) or do i try and contact him again?

It is starting to make me feel a little down, i thought maybe this was the beginning of something, i hope it still is

Firstly...... FACEBOOK IS NOT REAL LIFE!!

 

Secondly - was he going to see his family permanently, or just for a while? Do you know he's still away, or has he come back and just not been in touch?

 

I think you need to take a step away from this situation, occupy your mind with other hobbies, past times and people and try to focus on other something other than this person. Sadly, I think your friends are right.

 

Not wishing to sound harsh, but if he has "gone away" then you may not even get the answers you're looking for.

Do you think it's a case of out of sight out of mind? Have you read the book "He's Just Not That Into You"?, it may help you sort out the interested guys from the time wasters.

 

If he wanted to reply to your message or contact you, he would, right? Have you considered that he may have a gf back home?

Yes that's very common. He probably has an entire life and gf/fiance back home and possibly went back for an arranged marriage, so perhaps you were his last fling while away form home. Where is he from?
