Friends with Benefits and Work colleague

Dear Forum,

 

I need some advise. The story is this. I used to work abroad as a rep. I was a late person in the team and settled in quickly. About a week after I landed I went out with work colleagues and at the end of the night I kissed a very attractive girl within my team. We kept it a secret for a month and we was being friends with benfits. After a month she called it off because of her parents coming and people started to get ideas that something's happening. But we was still good friends and very close to each other. It was hard as we see each other at work every day. All good just friends and I would stare at her and she would stare at me when we was looking at each other and play fight and muck about. About a month ago I ended up in hospital due to collapsing/having a fit because of dehydration. She was there with her friends and was very upset that I was ill. She came in to the ambulance and hospital with me. She would come and visit me every day and message me. After I came out of the hospital about 5 days later. She wanted to spend time with me like watch films. There was one night we had pizza and ice cream and the pizza place gave her the wrong ice cream so she was abit angry and went to her apartment. Me on the other hand thought it be nice to go back to the pizza place and get her the right ice cream she wanted. So I messaged her and said open your door I got you a surprise but she was getting abit pissy with me because I got her out of her bed. After that she didn't talk to me for a week until it was her birthday and I made a photo frame for her birthday and she said she really loved it. That day due to my health issues I was told I'm going home back to uk. She didn't seem happy and very shocked. So when she realised I was going home she started to talk to me more. Now I was leaving on a Monday where everyone went out on Sunday night to get drunk and she had her two friends with her I didn't stay to long and I said goodbye to her and left early but doesn't remember. On Monday I didn't wake anyone up and just left without saying goodbye as they would all be hungover and kill me. I spoke to her when I arrived back in the uk and explained why I didn't want to get her up and she was very sad that she didn't say goodbye.

 

Now iv been messaging her just to keep update but she been ignoring me again, couple of days ago she unfollowed me on Instagram. Now today she has blocked me on facebook. Is this the end? Have I done anything wrong beside didn't say goodbye because I didn't want to wake her as she would be hungover.

 

I have got her mobile number but I don't want to bother her. I dunno what to do. do I just leave it move on.

Unfortunately it sounds like she does not want to maintain a long distance friendship and perhaps would rather forget about the office fling. Just let it go and look back fondly on the fun you had.

 

Focus on being back in the UK and resuming your life and dating adventures there.

She sounds flakey to me, getting mad about the ice cream was an over reaction. I think you'd be better off to move on from her and concentrate on yourself and being back at home.
