Beards - yay or nay?

Seymore

Ooh... I love a good beard on a chap. Years ago, I had a boyfriend with a seasonal beard; he'd start growing it in October, to keep warm in the autumn and winter, and then shave it off when the weather warmed up the following year.

I commented that I preferred the beard, the first time I saw the new growth, and he told me that all the women he'd find attractive said the same - and was gratified that I'd continued this tradition...

Love me some facial hair! Almost all of my boyfriends have had facial hair. My last one was very touchy about his beard and asked if I minded that he color it, since he did have grays in there. I told him to do whatever made him feel good... so long as he kept the hair, lol.

I don't care either way, but I do think it would look best if you colored it to match your normal hair color, or as close to it as you can.

Thanks, I will. I brush it every day and use conditioner on it so it's not scraggly or anything and I try to trim it once a week or every other week.

Lisii, what's bum fluff? lol

Just want to commend you on your upkeep, too. I appreciate a guy that takes care of his hair so that it's not scratchy or rough to us ladies!

It's all in your attitude. If you like it and it makes you feel hot and sexy, then women will like it and flock to you.

Personally, yuck yuck gross yuck......and despite that dated a guy with a beard because of above - he was sexy and somehow the beard was sexy....on him somehow.....somehow I got over myself and made an exception so there you have it. Make of that what you will....lol.....

Will say one thing though - make absolutely certain that the thing on your face is always clean and groomed. Sexy can turn to gross in a nanosecond when you have stuff, food and even smelliness in your beard. Hair brings out oil, oil leads to BO. So be sure you are well groomed.

I have to admit I find middle-aged men with grey beards rather sexy and distinguished, generally speaking but wouldn't particularly want to snog one (My SO doesn't have a beard even though he is of course incredibly sexy!) Don't like stubble or the mega clean shaved look either..... not that I'm fussy or anything! Just the one-day-in look is fine by me. Depends on the fella... but yes, grey, flecked beards look nice.

LMAO Dancing....

Somehow that scene from Brother Where art Thou rolled into my mind, where they sing on stage "Man of Constant Sorrow". Great scene, but oh my, those beards......LOL.

Now that darn song is going to be stuck in my head all night. LOL

and wiseman comes with the lols as usual

In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email success story from a viewer who went through a bad breakup about a year ago. He says she is stalking his social media and calls from different numbers, but he has not given into weakness or the urges to let her back into his life. It’s an interesting account of a man’s journey to self-love, self-respect, healing and overcoming a toxic relationship that no longer serves him.
