Why did you give up on me so easily?

Like you said, I was always there for you. When you needed to rant, I listened. When you were feeling unhappy and irritated with life, I understood and put up with your moodiness. When you were stressed out by work, I went out of the way to pack you lunch or dinner because I wanted to make your life easier. You had many good traits, but you weren't perfect. You had many many flaws. In fact, you can be a very difficult person to deal with. Regardless, I accepted and loved you for who you were. Regardless, I never gave up on you.

 

Why was it so easy for you to give up on me?
