Learning16
My ex broke up with me a little over two months ago. I did not want the breakup and besides a few long conversations, we have not spoken. He knows how I feel and during our last conversation I asked him if he felt that he had still made the right decision. He said sometimes yes and sometimes no. When the idea of giving it another shot came up he said he wasn't ready for it and doesn't think I am either. Anyway, three weeks after that conversation two of my best friends (one male, one female) run into him at the store. They felt very awkward taking to him but he was very chatty and kept asking them what they've been up to and mentioned something about them not hating him. He asked if they could all hang out and even got their numbers. My friends do not want to hang out with him but felt so put on the spot that they gave him their numbers. My question is this... Why would my ex want to hang out with MY friends. They were not mutually ours. I'm really hurt that he would even ask! He has to know that it would hurt me, and that its not okay. I just don't understand the motives behind it. Link to comment
tattoobunnie
No motives. He may just want to hang out with your old friends. If they were my friends, they would have declined, and not given him their numbers. Link to comment
ThatwasThen
Why did he break up with you? Link to comment
Wiseman2
Do you think he's making a move on the female friend but asked for both their numbers to make it look 'friendly'? Ask both of them what they make of it and of they have plans to hang out. two of my best friends (one female) run into him at the store. He asked if they could all hang out and even got their numbers. Link to comment
