brian1024
So me and my girl friend have been dating for nearly 3 years. And for the past 6 months or so we have been bickering more (perhaps the honey moon phase is over) but anyway she goes back to school soon (long distance) so were spending practically everyday together. Today we were supposed to go to the beach and we went out to walk my dog. This kid drives by smiling really big and throws up a giant heart with is hand towards our direction. So at this point im just confused asking who the hell is that to her and shes like i dont know him. Mind that he waved and smiled multiple times the past few months at us. I dont know him like that as in i have never spoke to him although i recognize him cause he went to our high school... not enough to put hearts around. Then I say he lives over there and she says idk several times. then i point in the exact direction and she suddenly knows his name, i saw she liked his picture on facebook 4 years ago (irrelevant) and i just say im confused partially torn because that just does not sound normal. I just walk in my house and tell her maybe well hang out later i need time to cool off and think. And she keeps saying i dont know him like that either and to message him or something and ask whats up. But that seems counter productive...am i overreacting? She literally has no guy friends at all. I also understand you should always trust your partner...but this is just very very out of the ordinary. She then waited outside my house for 2 hours when I said to go home. And she said she knows she did nothing wrong and would like to wait until I am ready to just hang out again and calm down. I told her to come over after a while and apologized for my overreaction but still said I feel weird about the situation. Link to comment
Doc Blaze
Are you the type of guy to get jealous of any male friends she has? to me I would be like who was that, then been like whatever and went on with my day. IMO you are being pretty dramatic. Link to comment
Wiseman2
Dog lover? Who knows? She's not pursuing him at all. Jealousy comes from a place of insecurity and possessiveness...very unattractive and lacking confidence. She's your gf...don't lose her to these interrogations and suspicions. we went out to walk my dog.
