Meeting guys in college?

So I'm going off to a big public college in a few months and my studies are my main focus but I'd like to leave room for some fun. So I am looking for some tips to become approachable to the guys at my university. Also any tricks on weeding out the guys who only have one thing in mind? I have good judgement but any advice is appreciated. I'm looking for a relationship on the more serious side.

don't go to frat parties. join a club that you like and you'll likely meet a guy that has the same interest as you. if you're looking for a smart guy, join a society like an engineering club or finance club or whatever field you think a guy's quality is sexy. if you think a sporty guy is your thing, you should try getting into that sport. or you'll just meet the guys everywhere in all your classes. see who interests you and see if you can rub elbows with him. good luck.

Date a few different guys, casually. Make them actually DATE you. Meaning pick you up and take you out on a date that THEY planned. Don't give these "Netflix and chill" losers your attention. After 4, 5, 6 dates....you'll know who's the right kind of man, and who needs to take a hike. Trust your head. If you're thinking "Ahh this guys is so sweet BUT he's got all this going on" then trust it! And move on to the next.
