I have not had a lot of pain since September. So I think the meds have worked or the nerve has calmed down. I see the specialist tomorrow I don't know if he will suggest a decrease. I have accidentally decreased myself by forgetting to take my nighttime doses . No pain at all but caused myself a small breakdown in the process.

I am not afraid no. He wanted me to go to the long acting.( Tegretol ) I said no. It did not work before . He said fine we will stay with tried and true. Then he had me teach him some stuff about anxiety in kids because he said one of his kids might have anxiety. Then he thanked me for teaching him something . Wow. I have never had a dr ask me to teach him ANYTHING or THANK ME. I am impressed.

Argh no! That sucks! That's an immediate stop and you'll know you can't be without meds now

Yeah ,the pain was there within a few hours . I mean it was bearable but who wants to live like that . It is exactly like it was before he added the Lyrica. So yeah no I'm not taking that that away .

Or you'll get to the same point as me eventually, the surgery....i think it's a better option than a lifetime of meds.....but the success rate of the surgery depends on a few factors, if you don't have it that long and if you have the typical variant. I qualify for both of those....if you have the atypical variant the surgery can even cause more pain
