Anybody else has learned from the chasm of age difference on here?

I actually think it is productive to have people from so many ages and mindsets benefitting from one another.

 

But for the more *cough* mid-life crew, do you see a lot of posts and could pull pages out of your own journal they could have been written verbatim by the younger, hip folks? It's a blessing to know that we have actually learned something through all the pain we have lived and we look back and 23 when we thought it was the end of the world, only to blunder through another life experience and lesson to enrich us.

 

It fulfills me to hear those stories, as it fulfills me to know my journey is my work in progress. Also a wonderful distraction as I'm going through my own life complications at my soon-to-be ripe older age.

Just think what we could have avoided if we'd had this site when we were young.

 

But then, there's nothing like experience to really learn something well.
