jessiepie19 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I have a best friend who is friends with a girl that hates me and liked all her posts on Facebook including ones talking about me. She also acts like we aren't friends around most people which hurts but when we're going to events she is the ultimate best friend and doesn't care about the world around her. She also lied to my face about seeing the posts and has become two faced. I really like her as my bestie because we normally have a good time together but I don't know if I should just get rid of her. So, should I get rid of her?
melancholy123 Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 I'd get rid of her as who wants or needs a two faced person in their life? She sounds very immature.
DoF Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 This is similar to "relationship rules". NO ONE can be your friend if they are not a friend (in this case) of your "friendship". So if your friend has a friend that hates you, and still hangs out with her, then perhaps hers and your friendship aren't all that meaningful. Chances are HIGH your friend bad mouths you behind your back, and the reason why HER friend hates you (most likely). Acting as if you are not friends around other people is a HUGE red flag as well (same as above). Basically, she is not your friend. You are just pretending that she is. DO NOT ignore the issues with her, DO NOT confront her about them either. I would simply stay away from this person going forward. No need to announce anything or talk to her. Ignore her and keep distance. Knowing WHO your friends are in life is important IMO. It takes time and usually major events in life to REALLY find out!!!! Also, remember, MOST people will be EXTREMELY luck to have even HANDFUL of REAL friends in their life.
j.man Posted November 17, 2015 Posted November 17, 2015 Honestly, when I think of all the reasons I'm glad I wasn't born female, not having to deal with **** like this easily tops the list.
