Seraphim Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 The city of Paris is being besieged by multiple terrorist attacks at the moment.
Astrogirl Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Just watching it unfold on the news. Absolutely terrible. What a lovely thing of you to do to post this in memory of all the victims.
Movingforward3 Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Absolutely terrible. We must never forget 9/11 and this attack. Our response should be immediate. God help those held hostage.

Willywagtail Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Why does this madness continue to happen in our world?? My thoughts are with the suffering families and my prayers are that somehow the madness will end.
TMifune Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 amazon.com took away the banner they usually have at the top with some advertisement and put a French Flag with the word Solidarite. Pretty classy for a big company. (giving up ad space for something more important) ]
Capricorn3 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 It's awful. Makes you wonder who's next. The world's gone mad.
Bunney Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Was there just 2 months ago. So sad & tragic all around, can't believe the victim count has gone up to 153 now. it's 6:30AM here now and I still can't sleep, so upset about this and that I havent heard from my friends in Paris yet. does make you wonder if this is just the beginning. I've always had this slight fear in the back of my mind that it could someday happen in my city, Berlin, too.
IAmFCA Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 the world has gone mad. War used to be among soldiers, civilians sometimes but that was a crime and frowned upon in any event. Now, there is no honor, no boundary. We are fish in a barrel. I can't control it so I accept it. But I do not understand the utter lack of humanity. Who are we? The scenes from Paris are surreal. Its a broken puzzle, cognitive dissonance on display. It doesn't fit together. Except, it is real. Glad people hashtagged to offer shelter. That is brave and beautiful.
Seymore Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 What kind of a world do we live in? Times like this I'm glad I don't have kids. Part of me would hate to bring them up in a world so full of hate.
IAmFCA Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 What kind of a world do we live in? Times like this I'm glad I don't have kids. Part of me would hate to bring them up in a world so full of hate. But there also is love. Parisians and New Yorkers offering over twitter to give shelter to those who are stranded. In Paris, would I open my home while terrorists are about? No. But people have, publicly, to help those who are in need. Its a beautiful testament to love.

It would be sound to avoid public places where people swarm .
missmarple Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 This is a sad day, not only for France and Europe but for the whole world. My deepest condolences to the families of the victims.
dave_1966 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 Was there two weeks ago, a beautiful city to visit. My thoughts and prayers to yet more victims of a savage and primitive form of religion.
greta96 Posted November 14, 2015 Posted November 14, 2015 There comes a point when praying and sending help and positive vibes is no longer enough. It will not stop them, on the contrary, they enjoy seeing the results of their crimes and the pain they cause. They live for it. Somebody HAS TO DO something and put an end to this madness caused by the subhumans, we need action not just words. It won't be pretty but enough is enough, they are ruining our civilization, destroying innocent lives and killing our world. Forgiveness? Acceptance? No, no more.
