^ trickykid .. I liked that series... it had a throw back feel to it that appealed to me. Kids were great in it too.

^^^ I LOVED it! (I think I might have said that a few times already here ) Just the fact it reminded me of everything I did/saw/remembered as a child of the 80's. Children were just fab too.

I watched the entire series, while I found it watchable and the acting was good and that, I think Im just more of a Sopranos / Breaking Bad type of person. But I know loads of people, in fact nearly everyone I spoke to loved it

michael crichton's westworld.

It's about amusement park that is full western augmentation that allows people to do whatever they want in the wild west. androids that are practically indistinguishable from human beings, each programmed in character for their assigned historical environment. The two leads is the lovable androids played by Evan Rachel Wood and James Marsden. The evil visitor is played by ed harries and the lead android designer is played by Anthony Hopkins.

5/5 show.

Warning. You need a strong stomach to watch this show.

Ok Stranger things, what do you think? Im finding it hard to get into it, Im finding it very slow. Im on episode 5 but its not something that I would be needing to watch the next episode, like I can take it or leave it

I loved it, but this is the type of show or story I like - whacky with unlikely heroes and a supernatural twist. Right up my alley. Sort of like Freaks and Geeks meets supernatural.

I just started watching "Ash vs Evil Dead" and I am loving it. Bruce Campbell is a favorite actor, I loved Army of Darkness, the original Evil Dead not quite so much, because "trees" and that's all I'm gonna say about that.

But the show is great, witty, hilarious and fun in parts, terrifying and jump scares galore in others.

And a clear morality tale about why one does not get stoned out of their head, and then try to impress a girl by reading to her from a book of ancient evil.

Oh I loved the first season, cant wait for the second. My only complaint about it was the 30 episodes. My favourite scene is when he went to have dinner with the girls parents, priceless. I was skeptical about it as I wondered how it would transfer from movies to series but they made it work

The Secret River

Set in 1806, I like these types of series - reminds me of the Potato Factory, Tomo & Hawk and Solomon's Song, ... (Bryce Courtnay's books)

"in 1806, William Thornhill is sentenced to New South Wales for life where he is drawn into a terrifying conflict that will leave a bloody and indelible stain. Based on a multi-award winning novel by Kate Grenville, is a gritty story of survival from early Australia that tackles the chilling fundamentals of white settlement. It centers around English convict, William Thornhill, who is compelled by desperation, fear and ambition to commit a terrible crime against humanity."
