happyfrank Posted December 14, 2015 Author Posted December 14, 2015 I *might* actually finish Diablo III tonight. Maybe. Probably. You can do it!
WithLove Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I haven't spent a lot of time in Goodneighbor. I got through the Silver Shroud quest line til I had to wear the cape and hat to hunt down baddies; but without my Power Armor, I'm carrying too much crap and it's just too much work to go through it and get rid of stuff. LOL
WithLove Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I can't... I dismissed him, because I don't want him to attack the Brotherhood, remember?! I'm a snobby solo Wanderer now.
WithLove Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 No way! It's sentimental now. They were the first faction I aided after the Minutemen. I'll change it up the next play through.
BritterSweet Posted December 20, 2015 Posted December 20, 2015 I finished the Mass Effect trilogy and am now playing Dragon Age: Origins. Yes, it's late and everyone is into Inquisition now but I was too busy with college at the time Origins was released. Plus, I'm a cheap gamer who got the Ultimate Edition with all of the DLC included for a fraction of the main game's initial price. For my first playthrough I'm a human noble rogue who is romancing Zevran.
WithLove Posted December 22, 2015 Posted December 22, 2015 ^ I tried playing it, but at the time I had a terrible TV and couldn't read the dialogue. Gonna have to pick it up again now that I have a better one.
imsuperman Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Getting back into Witcher 3 a little after suffering from Fallout fatigue. I have't played Alien: Isolation in a week or more because I love it, but the next mission is stressful so I'm putting it off haha. I bought Everybody's Gone to the Rapture this week and it's interesting, despite just being a walking simulator.
Seymore Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 That game was weird. I blew through it in a couple of days.
imsuperman Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 That game was weird. I blew through it in a couple of days. Yeah I've only played it for maybe an hourish total, but I like the weirdness.
WithLove Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I'm going to pick up Elder Scrolls Online today at some point.
Seymore Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I was debating that game. Let me know how you like it.
Seymore Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 LOL picked it up while I was out. It looked so good from reviews and I had store credit, so I said why not. Got home and loaded it up - gonna be at least another day before the install completes. WTH
WithLove Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I KNOW - it's like a 10 hour download for me. It got halfway done and I paused it to play Destiny. Gonna start it again once I go to bed.
WithLove Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Played for a bit today and made it to level 5. It's pretty intense. Lots of online players, though, which is cool. What do you think, Seymore?
Seymore Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I got to level 7. I am digging it so far! I'm glad I didn't go into it expecting Skyrim, but it's definitely an Elder Scrolls game. I do tend to skip through the dialogue. I also wish you could mute certain players. Gonna hop on for another hour and hit the sack.
WithLove Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 That's it exactly! It's not like Skryim, but not too far off from it, either. It definitely has the feel of an Elder Scrolls game. I think my only "complaint" so far is how quests are associated on the map... I dislike that every quest shows, because it's hard to see which one is the one you're following. I think you can mute channels, like the area channel. Not sure if you can mute certain players unless you go to their PSN profile and do it that way. What race and class did you pick? I was going to go with my standard ES one - Wood Elf sneaky archer - but then I saw the Templar option and got all excited to be a healer! I'm always a healer in RPGs, unless it's impractical (like in Skyrim, since that is a single player game). I think it'll be really useful in this game. So, now I'm a healing, voluptuous Argonian with a bad-@ass purple Mohawk, hahaha! I've got my Restoration skill leveled up quite nicely already and I looted a really nice Restoration Staff that steals health and transfers it to me as its attack. My primary heal that I use has already been leveled enough to morph, too! Now It heals for more and heals more people at once. I haven't partied up with anyone, though. I'm set to join up with another member on here tonight, though - Fudgie. She plays, too.
imsuperman Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I finally struggled through on limited provisions to Level 22 in Fallout 4. I'm close to being level 15 in Witcher 3.
WithLove Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 I haven't touched Fallout 4 in probably over a week. I think I'm level 37-ish. I just... got burnt out. I made it to a certain point in the story where I just don't want to go any further. I'm disappointed in it, I guess. Not that it's not a good story... it's just not how I wanted it to go. So, thus, I don't want to progress in it. And I can't really do much else with the factions (except the Minutemen) unless I progress with the story; and doing Minutemen quests do nothing for the favor towards my man Deacon, who "never really liked the Minutemen anyway" (and yes, I have to listen to him repeat that over and over). It's so sad.

It's so sad. Yeah I'm pretty burnt out but tried to dip my toe back in over the weekend. My problem is I've sold all this stuiff just to get stimpaks and rad away. I keep getting radiation damage because every possible mission it seems involves ghouls. I'm down to crappy weapons and little aid lol. And man, there's nothing more useless than companions in this game. They don't do anything.
WithLove Posted December 28, 2015 Posted December 28, 2015 Do you use your Power Armor? It protects you from radiation a lot. And you can take the perk that gives you extra carry weight because you're traveling without a companion and gives you damage resistance, too. Also, there's a Power Armor upgrade that takes all radiation out of food and drinks. So that will help, too.
