photograph11
Hi ena, This is something I've been working on myself, sometimes I tend to take things too personal. Like the other day, I was showing my mom some pictures of myself and she said that they look good because I'm wearing a red lipstick which looks good on me. I took it the wrong way thinking to myself well does she mean that I don't look good without lipstick? Obviously thats not what she meant I know, I know she meant that I look good with item what do you guys think? Link to comment
Furbys
Yes you took a compliment and turned it into a negative. Do you struggle to accept compliments? Link to comment
flower888
Learn to think positive. The example you gave is a small issue but because you interpret it negatively, it turns into something negative. Dont be negative without solid evidence, if not your life will be miserable. Read some material on positive thinking, it will help. Link to comment
golda
This is an issue I am also trying to work out. At my office, everyone is very competitive and a co worker told me not to take things personally because it's just a job after all and at the end of the day we are all good friends, and I have a hard time believing that.
