there is a guy I'm interested in at my gym who has introduced himself and started up convos with me.. and i feel like I've been coming off a little standoffish and not cute and flirty

 

i really want to make this work and I'm super disappointed in myself because he is showing interest and I'm just being blah.

 

today he asked me if i was doing anything tonight and we both agreed that we weren't doing anything but then i got nervous and pointed out that a snowstorm is coming..

 

i need tips on how to approach him, what to ask him, how to get his number

 

he's 27, 6 years older than me, which is okay just I'm intimidated by it

Yeah i know that feeling, it can be hard to push through your comfort zone and talk to a guy. But the answer will always be no if you dont make that first step and push through the shyness! Once you do youll be so relieved!

im scared of rejection, or not being good enough.. or him thinking I'm weird.. (but in the grand scheme of things if he does who cares??) idk i feel too scared

You shouldnt be scared (easier said then done i guess) he has shown genuine interest in you! I would allude to not having plans on a specific day and say that you wish you had something to do.
