venus1173
Me and this guy were dating for 4 months and it was going well until about a month ago. I started picking fight for no reason and accusing him of wanting other women. One night he told me he was done and that I was too much drama for him and that was that. He told me that I gotta find what makes me happy because I didnt want to be happy. I now realized that yes, it was my fault because I pushed him away. I broke 2 weeks of NC and apologized for my part. He said "thanks". A part of me wants to text back saying no problem. I'm trying to resist the urge because I don't want to get my hopes up. mhowe
You should have no hopes... You were at fault...you apologized. He accepted the.apology with the "thanks". He did not leave the door open for further dialogue or dating.
toby4
Just step back and look at what reality is screaming at you, it's over and I'm sorry...
Circe
Yup. He did not leave the door open - he could have, he didn't. If you text back "no problem" in these circumstances.. honestly it'd be a bit weird. It would be totally unnecessary and isn't going to prompt him to text you again.
