Hope you can help. Ive just bought a house, having spent years saving for a deposit. I live in the uk. I have been going out with a girl for just over a year and she has decided to help me with half monthly payments. Im just trying to cover myself but if things were to go wrong and we were to split up would the deposit still be mine if we sold property or would i have to share....there must be something i can put in place to say that i get my cash back, as my family helped me out with some of it.

She is paying you rent. She does not get put on the title...and she does not own any of the house.

You don't need to do anything - unless you get married, or unless the law changes... she doesn't have any claim on your assets, or on the deposit you paid for the house you live in.
