Hi all, just venting! Feel really rubbish today.....just want to contact him but know I can't! It is so frustrating knowing someone does not share the same feeling the way you do. Rejection is tough

Also, I know it's stupid and probably cos I am feeling crap, but do ex's ever come back or think they might have made a mistake. It's wishful thinking but keeps playing on my mind.

I think it get harder as you get older. I am sort of in the same boat. You think that people at age would be interested in being serious and all the signals they give make it seem like they want to be serious and then BAM, just kidding. Be glad that you didn't invest a year or years into this relationship. At least he was honest with you early on and not leading you on. Go with no contact and see if he decides he wants to reconsider things with you. Otherwise, move on. You cannot try to change his mind. He has to make that decision himself and on his own without anyone trying to convince him.
