Komal Posted December 29, 2013 Share Posted December 29, 2013 i was always reserved about my feelings in my life. i was really good at talking to others about their feelings but didnt open up about mine. now, i m in a serious relationship. i m having trouble communicating my feelings to him. i dont know how to articulate my inner discomforts to what they really are. i usually end up getting frustrated, angry and saying things i dont mean. my boyfriend loves me a lot, but this affects him too. i want some help on how i can communicate better... ParisPaulette Posted December 29, 2013 Share Posted December 29, 2013 Try writing it down first in a journal and/or a letter to yourself. From there you can read back over your words, think things out and work out what's really bothering you and how to say it. Otherwise sometimes in couples counseling you can both work together to be able to improve communication skills. Link to comment
