I think my girlfriend is cheating on me. Real advise and opinions please!

The pic wasn't while we were dating but right around the time she seperated from her previous husband. If I confront her I know it will make her doubt my trust in her. But then again, these red flags didn't come from out of nowhere. I'm just trying to figure out if the things I've listed seem unreasonable or if I have some valid points here.

I think you have some valid points that she likes black men and is clearly vocal enough about her tastes for the father to say what he said .

 

but ...she is with you .

 

your gut is telling you something ...that concerns me more ...our biggest detector is our own intuition .

 

see how the conversation goes about what the father said and if that settles your mind .

 

I don't honestly think she is cheating ...but obviously , I cannot say for sure .

I already know how she will react. She thinks the sister-in-laws dad is an odd ball living in a small town and that he says weird things. She'll get defensive about it because I confronted her about the phone and texting before. Either way I don't think I will get a different answer than "try to get over it, he's weird". That's why I turned here to get an outside opinion.

I am sorry I cannot personally give a definitive answer ...maybe see what other posters think of your story and have a good read through it all again .

 

I know if I was in your shoes I would be asking the same question and wondering why the hell someone would think I was a black man ...well woman in my case

There is a chance that she has strayed, you should observe her behaviour for the next week and then confront. Definitely.

We live long distance but see each other every week. Harder to tell what she's up to when I'm not there.

And she looks great, I know guys give her attention every time we're out. Which doesn't bother me but makes me proud, if she isn't cheating.
