Ok I don't know if this is the right forum for this but I am attracted to the girl so here goes lol.

 

So I have this female friend. I am a little interested in her and I have mixed ideas about how she feels. Either way I plan on just not doing anything about it because there is just not enough there for me to go one

 

Anyway she is still a good friend and we talk and flirt all the time so I was thinking about buying her a gift for Christmas...would that be a good idea and what should I get? Thanks.

Ok dude, you definetely got the idea but LET it HANG OUT THERE that your interested, if shes not a 5 year old friend then there is hope Luke lol. Say something that will show her that you like her but dont make it some cheesy 80s pickup line like Ex: "All i want for christmas is you"

Girlz like jewellery. Especially silver necklaces, with their birthstone inside. Its best to get one which looks clear and simple. Remember to not spend too much money on her, because you cant buy love, but definently give her some hints that you like her and that you care about her.

Don't give jewelry because you don;t kow her that well. Start with something simple. Did she tell you about anything she wanted to buy recently? Like a shirt, gloves, or CD?

When all else fails, I love getting flowers. I once received a poinsettia (xmas plant with red flower) for x-mas from a guy I was friends with who had a crush on me. It was really sweet and thoughtful.

This situation almost happened to me last year (I think I even wrote a thread on it, but it's ancient history) so hopefully I can help.

 

Don't get her a "nothing" present, but don't go overboard. In fact, don't even go near that. You two are not going out, so it's not even a must. Of course you like her, so you could get something small but not worthless. Sole has the right idea - if there's something she's talked about or something that reflects upon an experience you two had and hte gift isn't too expensive, go for it.

 

Also, it depends on how much you know her. If she doesn't know you relatively well, don't get some really really nice gift because she may get a little scared by it.

Depends on how good friends you two are -- but I know that if a certain few people gave me jewelry (like earrings or belly button barbell), i'd wear them to the grave . Even if I didnt like them, it'd still be really sweet.

 

And you can never go wrong with a bunch of flowers. This little kid I know gave me a bunch of flowers once -- it was so sweet XD

ya i have been working with this girl that sits next to me. We flirt and stuff a bit and i like her but i am not sure if she feel the same way (but sometimes i swear she does). We were talking about this movie WHITE CHICKS often and she was saying she really wants to see it. She just bought a DVD player but she has no DVDs to watch. I always lend her some of mine. I have bought her this movie for her christmas present. Lets see what hapens.
