I am marrying him every night.

Recommended Posts

Um. I don't know where to start with this but all i can say is every night i have dreams of marrying my ex. And i am getting uncomfortable about this. because i was getting over him so well, i have seem to be doing great again. I don't understand why i keep dreaming about this. Of course i still care about him so much, i still feel him so very close to my heart, but if he keeps haunting my mind like this, i will seriously go crazy lol anyone know why this may be happening? geeeez

I am having the same problem. I dream about my ex all the time also. I don't dream of marrying him but Im always holding him/talking to him/playing with his hair. Its driving me insane. Did you break up with him or did he break up with you? I wonder if that has anything to do with it... probably not.

I think we dream about, either good or bad, what we refuse to allow ourselves to think about during the day. Our subconscious will have it's way. As long as we realize that's all it is, maybe we can deal with our dreams and allow the light of reason to diffuse their power.

Hello-

Yes, I frequently have the same problem of dreaming about my ex. She and I have been broken up for close to 4 months and I dream about her in some way about every week.

I studied psychology and in such was taught that dreams are a form of problem solving done by the brain as we sleep. We in many ways try to sort out our life issues when we dream. In reflection, this makes sense, as I have dreamed about work problems and academic scenarios that have been troubling. I digress. The point-It's very normal, don't look deeply into it for some inner meaning or worse yet as a sign of some sort, perhaps suggesting you should get back together.

I like you do not like dreaming about her, they are often negative and set me out to have a bad day. But, what are we going to do? To the extent that we can't lay down and decide to dream about being president we can not lay down and decide NOT to dream about something.

Don't fret, as you can see, other people have the same problem.
