Roxie84
I, am, LOVING this book! Has anyone else read it? She explains why forgivenss is the key to moving forward and enjoying our lives to the fullest. Since I see a lot of posts on this site relating to "no contact," I think this would be an excellent resource for a lot of the people on here! She explains that you can forgive somebody you are not in contact with by visualizing a conversation with them and going through her process in order to forgive them. At the end of the day, forgiveness is in our hearts. It does not matter whether we tell a person that we forgive them for the pain they have caused us, and why. What matters is that we know, true to ourselves, that we have forgiven them in order to continue on the path towards our own happiness.
iamkaylee
hmmm I may need to read that one. I am usually very good about forgiving and moving on but there are a few people and things that I simply can not forgive. I have essentially moved on as much as is possible, but I can not forgive them for what they've done.
Roxie84
That's what is beautiful about the technique she talks about. The first few chapters goes very in depth as to why forgiveness is not acceptance condoning of one's actions - forgiveness is 100% for our own benefit
Secret Journey
I think I've managed to forgive just about everybody... I'm still unable to get over the feeling of being left alone, and so am unable to love enough and thus manifest love.
