Angel Irulan Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I had a friend who married an older woman, about 20 years older, so when she reached 60 he was still 40 and young. He wound up in therapy over it all. And a drinker too. Not cool.... Angel
Tom1990 Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I had a friend who married an older woman, about 20 years older, so when she reached 60 he was still 40 and young. He wound up in therapy over it all. And a drinker too. Not cool.... My ex is 16 years younger than me. When I'm 50, she'll be 34. That's managable. But when I'm 60, she'll be 44. Seriously pushing it. When I'm 70, she'll be 54. Yeah. She'd be going out on weekends, while I'd be thinking of checking into a home.
scared and alone Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 My hubby is 12 years older and it doesn't bother. I'm not saying sometimes it doesn't get annoying (im still in my 20s) but, I love him and couldn't imagine life without him (been with him since I was 20) so, I dont let the age gap bother me. My love for him is more important to me then whatever age difference obstacles there are. BUT, its not for everybody and I completely understand that.
