Um not really. Especially in the U.S.A. Welfare would be OFF the charts and HIGHER risks of aids.

Why would welfare be off the charts? If anything prostitution would create more jobs for undereducated people and the state revenues would increase through taxes. As for STDS that would most likely decline due to strict governmental regulations being as it is legal and more readily available one would most go to a legal "safe" prostitute rather than an unregulated one.

 

I think it just be horrific for our ethics as a culture though.
