New guy i've been talking to for almost a month

I've been getting to this guy since the beginning of June, we know each other through friends but we never really talked all that much until now.

 

Over the course of those months we went from long streams of comments on facebook, to messages to texting. The thing is, we usually text everyday and within the past two days i've yet to hear from him. We both take turns texting the other person first and i don't want to come accross as this clingy girl for texting him now.

 

This last conversation we had was on Tuesday where i replied to a text he sent while i was asleep. The conversation wasn't very long and i got the impression he was busy so i never said anything else after he stopped replying.

 

Monday, we had a really long conversation and i got the impression he was very keen and enjoying talking. He was flirting, and he told me i better tell him if there was anything he could do (i was complaining i was cold), and how much he wanted to hang out with me, etc... Basically i got the impression we were on the same page here after looking at how many texts we had sent between us in a week (over 900).

 

Should i just wait on him to text me? I feel so paranoid, like i did something even though i know i didn't. Or i feel like he doesn't like me anymore.

 

Has anyone been through something similar?

If your going to rely on texting as your only form of communication, then your in for dissapointment. The novelty wears off after awhile, and besides - if he's not ringing you on the phone, then you two will never become closer. Talking and hearing each others voices brings people closer, not texting.

Yeah don't bother with emails.

 

LOL I probably won't after my third date with the current guy. I'm cutting off communication style.
