we kissed but what next?

I think I'm posting this in the right place, well let's hope so.

I met a guy a few weeks back and he asked for my number. He lives a few hours away so we didn't meet until yesterday but we texted a lot and we both seemed to like each other. Then yesterday he asked me to meet him at the Ascot Races! (which for those of you who don't know are the Royal races in England, very posh and exciting!) So I met him and we spent the whole day being quite close and flirty, sometimes like holding arms or hands and then we went to leave and we had to get on the train and it was packed so we had to stand close and eventually we kissed (and everyone cheered). But then he had to go and since then we've texted a little and it's been nice but I don't know what's happening and to be perfectly honest I really want to become official with him. So if anyone could help with some advice on where to go next..? Thank you so much.

That is so adorable!

As for being official, don't say anything to him about that yet. You've only been on one date, you guys barely know each other. Just take your time, learn things about each other and have fun.

What Natasha said....Good advice.

This all sounds very encouraging. Don't rush it.

I've never been one of those people who likes the 3-day no contact rule. That just seems like a game to me. Maybe that hurt me in my dating days, but I think sometimes its not best to let things cool off. Glad to hear you guys were texting after this one.

Do NOT mention the being official thing yet, you could quite easily scare him off with a comment like that so soon. From a mans point of view being left wondering is what makes me go crazy for a girl, still give of the signals but be a bit mysterious. Us men want even more something we think we might not be able to get!

Good luck, enjoy that head f*&k of a dating game too, it's all fun and games
