Just broke up, looking for advice.

I'm a male (24) and I've been with my girlfriend (21) for almost a year. She's the one who asked me out and I was her first boyfriend ever. I had just quit my job (bad idea) and she was a college student in another town. We were introduced to each other by a mutual friend and hit it off over the internet. I found out that she was gong to be coming back to town and staying with her mom over summer break and we were really excited to see each other. I was at my friends house (the one who introduced us) and she wanted to come over to meet me. That went really well and we both planned on staying the night at his place (The next part gets a little awkward). We got into our friends hot tub together and started chatting about stuff, then my friend jumped in. We started horsing a round a bit and then he ripped her top off... This seemed very awkward of him to do, but whatever we played keep out of reach and tossed it back and forth to each other. Then he went back into a corner and had her bra and put it behind his back. She came up to him slowly and it seemed like they were having some weird romantic moment and next thing I know her boobs are in his face... (This friend slept with another girl I had been with some time ago and it took awhile but I got over it) I was pissed, but didn't want to show it so i just got out. My friend came up to me and said that he was sorry and that she was only a friend and nothing else(I found out later that she had had a crush on him before) Anyway that night we slept on his bed and my friend slept on the living room floor. Me and her ended up cuddling anyway that night and then we started hanging out a lot. After about 2 weeks she asked me out and we tried taking things slow. After about a month we started having sex (she was a virgin) and of course it was great. We made plans together to go back to the other town where she was going to college and we got a place together and I enrolled too. First few months were really great, but I started having financial difficulties and my car caught on fire so I bought a new one with my income tax return and financial aid. After that we moved into a different apartment that was more expensive, $790 a month (she could easily afford it herself with VA Benefits and money from her parents). Spending time together was still great, but financial concerns started to arise as I was not able to help pay rent. I did get some money in and gave her $1000. She seemed quite happy about it and we kept doing our thing. Like any couple we had our ups and our downs, a few serious fights though, and finally it came to that time where the term was ending and summer was around the corner. Now I was very nice to this girl and gave her back massages and cuddled her every night, I even cooked dinner every night. She started talking about going back again for the summer, but that she didn't want me coming with her and we had a "talk" It sounded like she made up her mind and wanted to end things on a good note and then go our separate ways. However, until the last day we moved out she kept telling me how much she loved me and we probably had the most sex in a month then we had ever had before. The very last night we cuddled and when we moved out things out and said goodbye, things seemed a little weird. I gave her a hug and tried to kiss her, but she wouldn't let me and we said our goodbyes. A couple days went by and she messaged me over Facebook saying she "kinda missed me" and we talked for a bit. A few more days wen't by and I tried messaging her, but she didn't seem interested in talking. Later on that day she removed me from a friend on Facebook and I tried to call her once, but she won't respond. I'm moving back to the town she is in how next week and I've already applied for work and have a interview set up. I really miss her and want her back in my life, but I feel like the only thing I can do is try to forget about her for now and focus on myself, and hope later on she will message me back. I was wondering if it would be alright to try and call her in maybe a week or two? What should I do if I want to get her back?
