Thank you Journeynow! I've been inspired by your gratitude!

Today I am thankful for:

2. A great walk with a friend today

3. My son who is starting to show some depth and maturity

4. My younger son's passionate teacher

5. Cool fresh air this morning

6. My warm cat snuggled up to me

Simple things...

1) A great parking spot.

2) Friends happy to see me today, and spontaneously hugging me, 3 different times.

3) Friends helping me think through things and come to a decision.

4) A sweet belated birthday note.

5) A project approved.

6) I screen my own thoughts. Sometimes. As a result, I enjoy my thoughts more. And I enjoy myself more. Maybe that makes me simple-minded, but it works for me, for now.

3) Seasons

4) Being warm and dry enough

5) The shoes on my feet, and somebody somewhere who showed up for work and made them, and the someone else who transported them. And the locally owned store that stocks decent shoes at a decent price that had them in just my size, way back when, at an amount I had available to spend.
