My boyfriend has suddenly come into a lot of money and I'm worried that he might leave me now. I feel like his lack of money has held him back in many ways and that he might have a change of heart with his future plans. I guess part of the reason I am concerned is that I'm moving to his country to live with him soon and we've discussed this lots of times, its still 2 months until then though...he could decide to up and leave or something.

 

Has anyone been in this situation where their partner has suddenly received a large amount of money from an inheritance or something and its caused you to break up?

I would rethinking moving to another country to be with a man you feel insecure about. If he is going to leave you there is nothing you can do. If on the other hand he is a stand up guy, unlikely to let this go to his head, then you are on safe ground.

Are you telling us he has dated 'below' him before receiving the inheritance? Are you saying he might want to date a woman better off financially than you because of the inheritance?
