Guys, what do you think of girls with nose piercings?

Guys....what is your first impression of a girl with a nose piercing? Is a nose ring a deal breaker, or does it even matter to you?

 

I have a silver nose ring (nostril, not septum). I have received compliments on it from men and women, and have been told that it "suits my face"...but I have also been told that it does not "match" my overall style or personality. I guess I can see why...I like to dress in a very feminine style (flower prints, pretty blouses, retro-style tops, etc) and I am rather introverted and quiet.

 

In any case, I like my piercing and I wouldn't take it out to impress a guy. I guess I am just curious to hear some opinions, though - I would find it amusing if a guy, or anyone, thought I was intimidating because I have a nose ring...I am definitely not!

for me it's always about the overall impression. in general though...i've been a fan. can only think of one or two women where it just didn't seem 'right' to me. usually prefer studs too. just my opinion.

Pretty sexy, especially if it suits your face cause some people can't pull it off. I prefer studs more though.

I like them. I like rings/hoops more than studs. As to impression, I don't really think I have one. Just 'she likes a nose ring'. lol

Hahahaha! I couldn't rep you, GH, but just a shout-out because this tickled my funny bone, audibly! I feel the same -- or as the case may be, diamond zits.

 

I dare say I've had that association even when I was a younger fart.

Have never liked any type of face piercings. Not that I find them intimidating. For some reason they just give off an impression of immaturity and tackiness off to me.

That's pretty much it. Piercings aren't exactly new - they were popular enough in the mid-80's, when I was 21. They're like tattoos in the small of the back. They seem like a really edgy thing to do when you're in your early twenties, but by the time you're in your mid-30's you start to regret them. I've seen precisely one mature woman still sporting an eyebrow piercing, and it looked pretty strange on her.

 

It's all customs, though. If we were living in the Amazon, we'd probably be all agog over the latest fashions in lip plates.

I don't think it's a deal breaker, but honestly it's not something I really like. On a date I'd rather be looking into her eyes than distracted with shiny jewelry.

I'm also in my 40's, and despite being a visual person ( photographer/cinematographer ) I absolutely HATE any kind of facial piercings.

 

Pierced ears, belly-buttons, and other places are great, but never anything on your face. ( I also hate the current black nail-polish craze that's been going strong for 10+ years now. Just hideous. Big Yuk-o! )

If you're talking about the small piercing then yes I think it can be pretty cute. The other kind where it goes through the nostril (sorry don't know what they're called) gives off this rocker/punk girl vibe. Guys who are into that punk or rocker style will like it, not really my taste though.
