Ladys w/long hair: How do you get ready fast and look fabulous?

So it takes me about an hour and a half to get ready. And i don't have that kind of time on my hands anymore. I usually start off with a shower, than getting dress (deciding what to wear), my hair, and then make up. How can I style my long curly hair, and still wear it through out the day with no frizz w/o spending 45 min on it?

You could save some time by deciding what to wear the day night before. Maybe you could shower the night before also. Probably the steam from the shower is contributing to the frizzing of your hair. I don't have curly hair, so I cannot advise you about that; however, if I had curly hair I would get on youtube and google curly hair and get advice that way. I have discovered hairsyling tips and makeup tips on youtube just recently and i think you will get some information on curly hair. Good luck!

curly hair is beautiful! embrace it and it's volume... mine is long and mostly straight. a little wave but i miss the volume. people with thicker and coarser hair that i know usually wash their hair maybe 2 times a week. focus more on products? sorry, my hair is super lame. I always get compliments though and I am sure you do too!

Talk to a hairdresser and make sure you have a really good cut that works for curly hair. The wrong cut for curly hair can make it much harder to style and make a tangled mess. There are ways for hair stylists to 'free' your curls so they don't tangle and you get a great look.

You can also pay for a professional hair straightening that will last until the hair grows out. If your hair is so curly is it hard to manage, that is what lots of people do. There are new straightening methods that keep the hair soft and healthy, so i'd ask a professional about that.

I wash mine at night, rinse with cool water (just my hair, not my whole head), add a touch of Frizz Remedy while it's still damp, and let it dry while I sleep. A quick comb in the morning is all it takes.

For preventing frizz my hair dresser says to never brush or comb it when it is dry, use a spray bottle with a mix of water and conditioner to dampen it first, then use a comb with large wide teeth. She says don't use shampoo every time you wash it, but use conditioner every time. (The conditioner will also act to clean your hair, but without drying it out.) Use a tee shirt rather than a towel to dry your hair to help keep frizz under control.

Curly hair can be such a pain in the butt, can't it? Get curl-specific products and try washing your hair the night before and styling in the morning. This may or may not work, depending on your specific hair type, but it doesn't hurt to try. (If all else fails, you can wash it again as per usual.)

You could try picking a hair style that allows you to wash and go... but that may involve more cutting than you'd like.

Laying out your clothes the night before, and minimizing make-up is always a plus for cutting back on time spent getting ready to leave the house....night-before prep also minimizes rushing and stress in the morning. Win!

My hair is naturally curly. Sometimes I leave it curly, sometimes I straighten it and sometimes I straighten it and then wave it. I have to decide in advance what I am going to wear and how I am going to style my hair as it is quite thick and takes some drying too. If I am doing the latter then I will wash and straighten it the day before then curl it before I go out but, yes, there is the chance that it will frizz in the shower so I have to shower quick!!!

I try not to wash my hair more than every 3 days as it dries out easily. I use very good products made from Argan Oil. I do only use the best hair care products. When I wash my hair, usually every 3rd night, I blow dry it (use a heat protectant), and then I straighten it with a straightening wand.

Hairdresser told me to stop hair from going frizzy in the shower, use a shower cap. I usually don't bother, and in between washes, I just do it quickly with the straightening wand, mostly the fringe and just very quickly at the sides. I spray a bit of Argan Oil in to keep it soft and add some shine.

I go to my hairdresser religiously every 5 weeks and have the color attended to and a trim if it needs it. In windy weather, I pull it back to protect it from wind and stop it drying out. On really hot days, I pull it up. I've got a good selection of accessories. ATM with it being summer, I've got a clip with realistic-looking frangipanis which I like to wear.

Good genes. I have very long, medium-loose wavy hair that is still shiny and thick. I don't do anything to it. I go to my stylist and tell him to give it wonderful layers that give it the "bedhead " look. I wash it with conditioner and shampoo from Lush and leave it to air dry, with just a quarter sized amount of leave-in conditioner to keep the frizz down, while keeping it light, airy and volumised. I always get compliments on my hair.

I have uncontrollable frizzy/curly hair. I think just find a really good product that works for your hair, I'm yet to find one that works miraculously on mine. I think moroccan oil for curly hair does a good job. Usually I just use a straightener to straighten out the frizzy bits and tie it up. But if I want my hair to look nice out it is a chore! I have to straighten it and then recurl. Aye the joys of curly hair. My hair is so thick too it takes forever if I want it to look nice.

I have long thick hair down to my butt. It nornally takes an hour to straighten so i do it the night before. In the morning i get up plug in my heated rollers and as theyre heating i get ready. By the time theyre done getting heated i put them in my hair.its easy takes like 5 minutes tops. As theyre heating in my head i finish getting ready. By the time im ready to leave the house i pull them out and my hair is wavy and pretty and im done. Its simple.
