TearsofFate
He's coming from Manchester, England ---> Toronto, Canada for valentines. Today's the day I meet him! After nearly 8 months of solely talking online. Thing is, as exciting and amazing this is, my wisdom teeth decided to start growing in this morning! D: It is just the most painful thing. My head is pounding and my gum is a bit swollen... The upper wisdom tooth in the left corner of my mouth is especially painful. Just yesterday it wasn't there, and this morning I can feel the sharp edges of it growing in. What to do, what to do! I'm really hoping this doesn't ruin Valentines, as he is staying an entire week. I have advil, but I'm not sure how well that will help. Any advice would be great! I meet him in just 4 hours I'm so nervous...and this wisdom tooth pain in my jaw isn't helping. He's on the plane right now! Link to comment
WhenWillILove
Darn. He sure as hell likes you. Good luck! For a person to spend this much money on a plane ticket and travel this long and talk to you for that long....Definitely likes you, don't doubt it. Link to comment
pippy longstocking
omg this is fabulous I ma so excited oh please please come back and tell us how this went .... this is fabulous can you get in at emergency dentist ? just to check it hasn't caused an infection ? get some anti biotics ? or do your pharmacists do minor exams of things ....our pharmacists here do ? can you go to a chemist ( trying to think what you call it ...a drug store ??!!) tell him and you might be able to buy an anti inflammatory/pain killer. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited for you Link to comment
Huntress0527
Aww how exciting!! I know how you are feeling! As far as your teeth go, could you purchase something like orajel or ambesol. I'm not sure if I spelled that correctly. It will numb the pain in your mouth until you are able to go see a dentist. I would def see one though, you may need to have them removed. Link to comment
Seraphim
Pop some advils and have a great time!!!! Worry about those teeth next week. My husband had his wisdom teeth bothering him for about 4 to 6 months before he did anything about it. Link to comment

TearsofFate
Thanks everyone Yes, I am so excited I'm shaking! =P I didn't sleep last night either. I've never dated anyone over the ocean before, so this is really something. It was a surprise visit too! Very nice weather in Toronto today too, nice and sunny, with snow on the ground. Looks perfect (for February weather I mean) Everyone is right, I need to deal with this wisdom teeth thing after a week. I'll just take some advil. I might have to go to the dentist after though. I can definitely go to a drug store Just 2 more hours, planes running a bit late. So so so so nervous haha. You know how they always say "They are probably just as nervous as you are"? Well, I am definitely more nervous then he is! Didn't get a winks sleep. This is actually my first real date, since 3 years ago when I decided to give up dating after a harsh break up. It feels like so long, but here I am today, ready to take life and have a great time yay! I'll update next week to say how it went Link to comment
TearsofFate
Oh, and I've seen this get thrown around the forums before, about how exes come back right when your 100% over them. After 3 years of no contact (100% none at all) my ex wrote me something last night at 3am (about 12-14 hours before my date). Isn't that weird? They turn up, right when you find someone new. I blocked him. =/ Thanks again everyone. Can't wait! Been excited over this all month! Now it's finally happening! Link to comment
