Has anyone had a cold last less than 24 hours?

Recommended Posts

I woke up this morning with a small cold. When I was in college and had a bad cold, I'd chug orange juice, tea, and chix soup by the gallon. Within 3 days I'd wake up totally cured. But this cold isn't as severe as those major ones, so I'm hoping this small cold won't last. Thing is, I've been at work since 1pm. I've only been able to have 1 can of chicken&stars soup and a couple cups of hot tea. I won't be able to drink any OJ/vitamin C supplements until I get home, which won't be until 9pm. (I get out of work at 8:30.)

So as the forum title reads, has anyone had a cold (small or severe) that lasted less than 24 hours without massive vitamin C intake?

When the swine flu was going around, I wasn't feeling so hot on a Thursday so just to be sure I went in on Friday to get tested. Saturday I woke up totally fine. Doc said I had swine flu, plus some other virus...kicked it pretty damn fast. So, yes, you can. But your immune system really needs to be functioning well.

Drink your OJ and soup, grab a book and get lots of sleep. Quite possible you can kick it quick.

Victoria - Oxen have one of the weakest immune systems in the animal kingdom!
