Does my straight friend hav feelings for me? because I feel somthing between us.

I've known my good time buddy for about 3 years. Its been recently since I've been feeling this connection bewteen us. Everyone that knows me thinks Im straight and everyone thinks my buddy is straight also. He always likes to mess with me or tease me like bump into me, try to sneak up on me and scare me, and even throw little paper at me. If its just me and him he'll open the door for me, and if he havent seen me in a while and he would say I missed you. For special occasions he always likes What Im wearing. He talks about girls like a regular straight guy when we are with a group, and he'll always ask my opinion on that topic. we are both single and if he needs advice or help he always comes to me. we have alot in common and I need some help does my friend likes me or what???

Tough call.I would say he probably doesn't. You have just been friends for so long he feels he can act that way towards you. I doubt hes trying to lead you on, but nothing screams "I want you". It seems more like best friends then anything else.

If he doesn't know you're gay, then I'm going to say he's straight. Straight guys (can) act very standoffish with gay male friends, so I don't think he'd be so playful if he knew you were gay and taking this as some kind of sign.

Yeah, I've told all kinds of jokes that don't reflect who I am.

 

If he's asking you about girl advice, he's not gay.

My boyfriend tells gay jokes all the time. He makes gay jokes with his straight and gay friends. telling them "He wants them and me that hes leaving me for them" yet he is 100% straight and I am sure of it. some guys are just comfortable with there sexuality to the point where they can make jokes like that.

Lots of straight people tell gay jokes - that doesn't have to mean they are bi etc. Why not ask him directly? It will solve all the guesswork

Thanks for the great advice, but I just have this feeling with him that I never had with the same sex, I wouldnt want to ask him because that could mess up our friendship. If he's bi or gay he'll have to make the first move.

There is another option, get a 3rd party involved, get him or her to tell him that you are gay, just that. It would give him time to process that without having to deal with you directly. I wouldn't get him/her tell him that you have feelings for him yet, one thing at a time.

There is nothing in your post to suggest he is even gay let alone have feelings for you.
