Oh wow. When I've played this game, it was never questions of a serious nature. I wouldn't exactly be appreciative of getting this drilled (interview-style).

 

Things that come to mind is more of the 'if you were stuck on an island, what are 3 things you couldn't live without', or 'you find out that your mother dumps your father for your cousin, what do you do?' Usually involves a certain amount of alcohol too I suppose....

I notice that the word "purpose" kept coming up in your questions. Many people don't really regard these things teleologically. ie, there's no defined or preset "purpose". Your relationships are what you make of them. They're not controlled by pre-defined purposes which you need to pigeon hole yourself into.
