Alabama
I've had this happen a few times in my life. Yet most recently it happened at work. I am thinking (which I do a lot) and I get stuck on this "endless" thought, as it cannot continue. I am stuck on a fixed point, to which I start to have a headache and have sometimes blacked out for a short time (never horribly long, maybe 6 seconds or so). My friend says it might be the neurons in my brain connect this thought process and so I'm guessing that when this happens, my brain "shuts down" for a few seconds until a connection can be found. Is there any condition or better explanation for this? Link to comment
HeartGoesOn
Have you been checked for a seizure disorder? Just a guess... Link to comment
LDRohnos
Umm, I don't know nearly enough about neurons so I'll leave that one alone. Do you sleep well enough? Link to comment
sjustine
Are the things your thinking about really stressful to you? If so, your brain may just temporarily shut off as a kind of protective mechanism Link to comment
