missymiss23
My friend was telling me about this guy she works with who is single. From what she told me it's someone I'd be interested in going out with. She told him about me and he seemed interested also. I added him on facebook. But my question is should I send him a message on facebook or should I wait and let him contact me first? I wouldn't even know what to say to him to start off without sounding too forward. DylanNotorious
Whoever friend requests a person, should make the first move. Otherwise, why did you friend request him? Link to comment
Furbys
Dylan is right. Why add someone if you wont make the first move to start a conversation? Just start a conversation by being simple 'Hi, how are you?' Link to comment
missymiss23
I'm alittle afraid to be the one that makes the first move. I don't have a very good track record with guys and I seem to do all the wrong things. Link to comment
DylanNotorious
'Hi, how are you?' This is the best way to start a conversation with him. If he doesn't reciprocate, then no harm done. Link to comment

Brightest Dark
Yep, send him a message. I hate people who add me and then never speak. In fact, I might go and delete some people off my friends list who did that right now! lol. Link to comment
missymiss23
well okay. so I did it!!! He was on facebook chat and so I said "Hey! How's it going?" and let the conversation go where ever it went. lol we didn't talk for very long, however, he said "Amber said she might have a little get together soon, so hopefully I'll get to meet you in person. Have a good night." And that's how we ended the conversation. (Amber is my friend's name.) I know it's only by computer, but he seems like a person who is easy to talk to. So I hope my friend comes through for me!! Now the next thing I'm worried about is my friend told me he's tall (as in 6'2). I'm only 5'3, 5'6 with heels. LOL Has anybody been in a "vertically challenged" relationship? lol Link to comment
