Two pills to prevent period?

Has anyone done this?

 

I started taking birth control about 2 months ago and of course, which has been terrible overall. I basically had a period the entire first month. Switched to a higher dosage, worked just great until the week that my boyfriend is about to come visit me - all of a sudden, I get my period two weeks into the pack.

 

My period was irregular before which is why I went on BC, but it seems that an irregular period without BC was still more regular and predictable!

I have skipped my period free week many times, if thats what you meant, by continuing on to a new pack without taking the "placebo pills." Never caused an issue, however it depends on the type of pill - mono.vs tri phasic. Have you talked to your doc?

Yes, I've done this when I want to skip/delay my period and it works. I can essentially change when my cycle happens.

 

Fiddling with nature is fun.

Are you saying that you want to take 2 pills at a time to increase the hormones that you're taking?
