RelaxByWater84
How many of you guys in your early forties would agree to go on a date with a woman that will be 27 this month?? It would be a 16 year age difference. If the guy does agree what types of things could I expect of him??
annie24
hahahah!!!! I think many guys in their 40s would love to date a woman in her late 20s! I don't think you need to worry. I think you should always expect a man to be kind and respectful on a date, no matter what his age.
velvette
age is just a number... (after 20, that is; no pedophilia here!) my dad was in his early-forties when he started going out with a 21-year old lady, and now they have two kids together! my mom, in HER early forties, started dating some guy in his mid-sixties!! from different backgrounds, speaking different languages; but they're still together too, quite happily. what should you expect of him?? expect him to be a normal human being, hopefully with some mutual interests and hobbies! everyone loves movies and fine-dining, right? have fun! RelaxByWater84
I'm just a little nervous since I look like a teenager and some guys are freaked out by that. lol.
LDRohnos
Just don't show up to the date with a pokemon backpack on and you'll be fine.
annie24
well, i think that in your case, looking classy will work in your favor and make you seem more mature. dress nicely - nice heels, no ripped jeans, wear a skirt or boots, etc.... basically, clothes you would find in Ann Taylor, not Forever 21. RelaxByWater84
I dress classy. I would say my style is more like Audrey Hepburn. I try to dress more grown up so I will get taken seriously.

Batya33
Look at it this way -what should a man in his early 40s expect by going out with a woman in her late 20s? My guess is you would have a hard time generalizing beyond, perhaps, generational differences in clothing or music/movie tastes. I have a male friend in his late 30s seriously dating a 27 year old -seems to be going fine.
