Memory Flashes?

I've been getting a lot of weird memory flashes, and am wondering if this has happened to any of you? It's very random. I'll be doing a task or whatever, and then random memories will just flash into my head. Like, I was just sitting here, reading someone's thread, and then a memory of grocery shopping in a foreign country a year ago flashed into my head. It had nothing to do with the thread, the poster was not from that country, the thread had nothing to do with grocery shopping or whatever. It's weird and I've been finding this has been happening several times a day. Just the most random memories pop up, things I haven't thought about in years.

This is interesting. Nothing like this has ever happened to me but I've heard that many people who get seizures or epilepsy have this... keep us updated!

This happens to me, too. Often, they're very old memories -- or ones that are not of great significance (i.e. the grocery shopping thing). I also have very vivid dreams, and I have experienced what *feels* like "deja vu," quite a few times.

 

I like to think it's a sign of brilliance. ;-) I hope so, anyway...
