X amount of time later, what would you say to them?

What would you say to your ex if... you were both invited to a party/wedding/get-together/reunion and you were most likely going to have to talk to them? Even if it's just hello.

 

Tell me about your position (single/taken/married) and theirs (single/taken/married) and how much time it has been since you've last had contact.

 

 

 

 

For me, it's been 2 years since the final contact, and we're both taken.

I think I would say long time no see, how are you? how was your summer? hope your siblings are doing well.

IMO, in these kind of situation things don’t go as planned nor will you say the things that you plan.

Well, just be yourself, be respectful. just show ex that you've matured in those few years that you've been broken up and if you each other accross the room just smile and wave. if ex comes up to you just be classy don't show you're nervous. Don't get to overwhelmed by the moment. Keep the conversation Short. Good luck!

Probably a simple smile. I'm not really the type of person who'd ask you how you are unless we're close. I'll still be single, and I can imagine he'll be already married.
