copepouches
I met someone I'm interested but I feel like I can't just be myself or trust her how the hell do you get through that??
Princess123
You should try giving people the benefit of the doubt until they give you a reason to not trust them. You can't start not trusting everyone. You can just keep your eyes open and believe everything is great. If you start noticing something is off or not right then you can go ahead and think about the trust thing.
Mustachio
I know this is easier said than done, but you need to let your guard down however you can. Believe me, you have been hurt, and as a coping mechanism, you have gotten to a point where you would rather shut down and not trust others, that way you dont risk being hurt again. But without the risk of being hurt again, you greatly diminish your chances of finding something good. Take things slowly, and see if you can open up in small pieces. And if over time you cant, then it probably means that either this person is not right for you, or that you are not quite ready to really be dating again. LaKings55
I know for myself, I've been struggling to trust anyone with anything. Anyone who has let me down in the slightest in the past 6 months I've ended up avoiding.
copepouches
Its just weird shes obviously interested we hang out have fun its just like we both have a super guard up. I show interest but I mean I forget to show people how you care for them without going over the top. I guess I will just wing it.
